Queenstown is a tourist town on the South Island, Otago region in the south-west of New Zealand. Rees was in search of pasture, and after an initial visit in 1860 returned to the country and make a farm. Queenstown city population reached 10,500 inhabitants in urban area and exceeds 20,000 inhabitants in the area of the district.
